Domestic Registry/Message Board

The AWCP Domestic Registry - Message Board, or DR/MB, is an on-line communications tool. It was created in 2006 as a database listing domestic applicants (all-around housekeepers, cooks, drivers, gardeners, pool men, and yayas) available for hire. In short, AWCP members are able to refer former household staff to other AWCP members seeking staff. The DR/MB also provides regular updates on laws regarding household staff and information on hiring practices and working with staff.
Additionally, the DR/MB serves as a way for AWCP members to communicate with all other members. This is especially useful to newcomers as posts generally convey useful information. Departing AWCP members commonly list items for sale. Typically, upcoming events around Manila are posted on the message board. Also, members will often ask if anyone has seen a specific hard to find grocery item recently.
Moderators screen and edit all posts submitted to the DR/MB for appropriateness. Every AWCP member has access to the DR/MB upon joining.
All New AWCP Members are automatically placed on the Yahoo DR MB Site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AWCP-DR
You DO NOT need to have a Yahoo e-mail account to avail of the DR MB features. But you do need to provide a profile.
YOU cannot access FILES OR OTHER DR MB FEATURES...UNTIL YOU PROVIDE A PROFILE.

Add this to your e-mail address book to make it easier the next time you want to post a message. Messages are not automatically posted. They are reviewed by the Message Board Moderators and edited (if required) then posted. Messages remain on the Message Board for 30 days, and then must be resubmitted if necessary.
