It is my pleasure to welcome you to Manila and to the American Women’s Club! We are extremely proud of the scope of our organization and are confident that you will find our organization a useful and enjoyable addition to your stay here.

To live overseas is a unique challenge and the presence of people who can understand and empathize is the key to a successful and enjoyable relocation. This is my 5th year in the Philippines and I attest that my staying power has everything to do with the people around me who support me, challenge me, and, when all else fails, eat chocolate with me!

AWCP was originally founded as a support network for women living in countries different from their own, and to this day we remain faithful to that purpose. We host monthly meetings, monthly newcomer’s coffees, and regular social events for the entire family. You may come into the country with a small support group, but in no time at all your calendar will be full!

The club is also very active in the community through different outreach programs and sponsorships. There are plenty of opportunities to give back to the country that you now call your own. The programs range from livelihood programs to education, from a medical focus to the promotion of the arts. Whatever your specialty or preference, we can put your experience and energy to use!
