Welcome to AWCP Special Events! Our Special Events Committee coordinates activities for fund-raising and social purposes. We plan, organize, and market all aspects of events that express interest for AWCP members and our community. Some of the events we organize are: barbeques, wine dinners, children’s parties, holiday parties, and our largest event, Hoedown. Joining these events, will open the door to great friendships and provide fond memories of your time in the Philippines. These events are open to members and non-members alike, so tell your friends! Be sure to check out our Calendar for upcoming events; we really hope to see you there!!!
Special Events is truly "Special" because you can have all the enjoyment of joining our events, plus you can also enjoy in the fun of creating the event! Any AWCP member can join the Special Events Committee; we welcome new members as we would love to put your energy to use! Whether you have experience in coordinating activities, are extremely detail-oriented, or you are just a social butterfly interested in social events, we are always looking for people to offer new and exciting perspectives. If you are spunky, if you are fun, and if you can help get the job done; joining the Special Events committee is for you, just let us know you are interested!
