The American Women's Club of the Philippines (AWCP) does at least one tour a month. The tours are open to kids, spouses, friends, and anyone who would like to join in on the fun!

Recently we've taken tours to see Historic Intramuros, Kawayan Cove Beach in Batangas, Malacanang Palace, Coconut Palace, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and other Metro Manila hot spots. One thing is for sure- if you have a sense of adventure, we will have fun discovering what Manila and the Philippines has to offer!

May's Trip is a shopping trip to Shanghai!
Thursday, May 8- Sunday, May 11, 2008

This trip will be focused on several items:
shopping, eating, local attractions and did I mention shopping?

PAL will be the air carrier and the Old House Inn is where we will be staying (I do have a backup hotel as well). Price is per person, includes flights, 3 nights hotel, Chinese visa prices, round trip airport/hotel/airport transfers by coach, two days of coach service for the group's use and daily breakfast in the hotel. Price is based on the assumption two people sharing two twin beds in a room. Pick your own roomie or I can arrange it for you.

We will be organizing the trip so that people can get clothes made, so our first stop will be at the fabric market Thursday, May 8th in the afternoon.


Please note that food, shopping and transportation will be additional. Depending on how much energy we have, we may to extend the rental of the coach to take us around.

ALL RSVP's and initial deposits need to be made by April 16th to Letty (850-0901), but deposits can be dropped at either office.
